      Die Ortsangabe auf der Bildseite ist falsch. Abgebildet ist nicht die Feste in Omaruru sondern in Windhuk. Transkription: Clavè [Absender} 23.2.1904. Ein Gruß vom Kriegsschauplatz, an Sie und die anderen Herren vom Re- giment, welche sich meiner noch erinnern. So habe ich doch noch einmal meinen alten braunschweiger Säbel, den ich zufällig hier hatte, umgeschnallt, da ich seit dem 14ten Jan. eingezogen bin. Es gab böse Zeiten! Jetzt ist Gefahr vorüber!
