Writings and correspondence mainly from Hellpach's work as professor for "Psychology on a Medical-Scientific Basis" at the TH Karlsruhe (1911-1914), as honorary professor for "General and Applied Social and Peoples Psychology" and director of the Psychological Institute of the University of Heidelberg (1926-1933) as well as Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs of Baden and State President (1922-1925), as candidate of the German Democratic Party in the Reich presidential election of 1925 and as commentator on German post-war politics.
