A Map of Central Africa South of the Equator Showing the established routes of trade across the continent. Drawn in 1867 & presented to The Rt. Honble. Lord Stanley, Her Majestys Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs by His Lordships humble Servant Wm. Desborough Cooley. Map showing the west coast from the River Congo to Walfisch Bay; and the east coast from Patta to the mouth of the Zambezi; place names, lakes, rivers, routes, notes on the country. The lakes now known as Lakes Tanganyika and Nyasa are shown as one continuous body of water.
