The Deutsches Institut für tropische und subtropische Landwirtschaft (German Institute for Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture), as the legal successor to the Colonial School, still has the preserved files of the former German Colonial School in Witzenhausen (DKS), a small part of which is in the Marburg State Archives.
