Inventory description: The collection contains printed material from the period from 1887 to the present. The printed material consists of magazines, newsletters, membership directories, brochures, lists of addresses and members, notices, circulars, commemorative publications and lists of vacancies. The Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv collects the archival documents of nationally and supra-regionally politically significant traditional and comrade associations. The archiving of printed material from associations, societies and other non-governmental institutions is closely related to the acquisition and evaluation of written material of the respective provenance designer. The following associations form the focal points of the tradition: - Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsche Feldpost 1914-1918/1939-1945 e.V. in the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten - Arbeitsgemeinschaft Zensurpost e.V. in the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten - Bund Deutscher Fallschirmjäger e.V. (BDF) - Bund Deutscher Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V. - Bund Deutscher Kriegsbeschädigter und Kriegshinterbliebener e.V. (German War Graves Commission) (BDKK) - Association of former NCO preschoolers and NCO pupils e.V. - Association of War Blind Germans e.V. (BKD) - German Armed Forces Association - Deutscher Offizier-Verein e.V. - Deutscher Offizierbund e.V. - German Army Association - Association of German Soldiers e.V. (VdS) - Waffenring Deutscher Pioniere e.V. The tradition is constantly supplemented by new printed material. Citation style: BArch, MSG 3/...
