          Inventory description: Due to the military convention with Prussia of 23.07.1867, the military commission of the Senate replaced the military deputation. It regulated the relations between the garrison and the Hamburg authorities, and in particular, in agreement with the General Command of the IXth Army Corps, the military replacement system. She was responsible for the respective military substitute commissions. It ceased to exist in 1921. The order, consisting of two registry layers with clearly differentiated structures, is structured as follows: In the Best. 342-1 I become Generalia (Military Commission of the Senate, General Correspondence, mobilization, military transport, march routes, quartering and catering, military budgets, service instructions, taxation of military personnel, military candidate system, personnel changes in the army, Postage freedom and the war with France (1870-1871) separated from Specialia (county replacement, replacement and landwehr, compulsory service, garrison matters, troop exercises, marches through, quarters, soldiers and officials of the former Hamburg contingent and pension and disability matters).
