Geschäftsberichte der Deutschen Ostafrika-Gesellschaft Nutzung: Uneingeschränkt Zugang: sukzessive Informationen zur Sammlung: Die Sammlung Geschäftsberichte gelangte zu einem großen Teil im Jahr 2010 nach der Auflösung der Wirtschafts-und Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der FU Berlin ins BBWA. Seitdem wird die Sammlung sukzessive um weitere Berichte Berliner und Brandenburger Unternehmen ergänzt. Bereits bei der Gründung des ursprünglichen Sammlungsbestandes in der Bibliothek der Fakultät schrieb Prof. Dr. K. Chr. Behrens von der besonderen Bedeutung dieser Schriftstücke: „Dieses Archiv stellt eine Sammlung wichtiger Unterlagen für die Forschungs-und Lehraufgaben der Wirtschafts-und Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät dar, die in Bibliotheken nicht zur Verfügung stehen.“ Trotz der Auflösung der Fakultät hat die Sammlungnichts von ihrer ursprünglichen Bedeutung verloren und wird bis heute intensiv von den Benutzern und durch die Mitarbeiter des Archivs für vielfältige Anfragen genutzt
