Part 227 / 616 - Report on the 1st quarter 1914 by Missionary Bock

Construction of a school building is necessary. Bock's medical work creates a trusting link between missionaries and Africans rather than the missionary work itself. The district office has given the order to fence the mission area with barbed wire. But the missionaries resisted, among other things because the costs would be unbearable. Report on the choice of a new site: The selected area is located near a sacred grove of African ancestral offerings. . Bock finds it pietätslos to considerations to deforest this.
