        Erläuterung: 1905 wurde mit starker bremischer Beteiligung auf Initiative von J. K. Vietor die Togo Baumwollgesellschaft mbH mit Sitz in Lome gegründet, die sich mit der Entkernung und Verpackung in Togo angebauter Baumwolle befasste. In sie brachte die Deutsch-Westafrikanische Handelsgesellschaft, Hamburg, ein Werk zur Verarbeitung von Ölfrüchten ein, das 1913 als Togo Palmölwerke GmbH verselbständigt wurde. 1914 wurden beide Gesellschaften beschlagnahmt und waren nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg zur Auflösung gezwungen.         Erläuterung: 1908 gegründet unter maßgeblicher Beteiligung des Norddeutschen Lloyd mit Sitz in Bremen zur Ausbeutung von Minerallagerstätten in den deutschen Schutzgebieten im Pazifik. 1914 wurden die Grubenanlagen von Japan beschlagnahmt und später nicht mehr zurückgegeben. Seit 1923 beteiligte sich die Firma an der N. V. Phönix Handel- en Cultur Maatschappij, die schließlich übernommen wurde, und seit 1925 an der Vereinigten Blei- und Zinkerzbergbau-Gewerkschaft in Mies (Stribro/CSR). Sie erlosch 1936.
