• Audio * description: Die Identifizierung der Walzen erfolgte nach den Inventarnummern (Inv.nr. 167 - 214). Es handelt sich bei dieser Sammlung um einen separat numerierten Teil einer umfangreichen Sammlung. Die Benennung der Sammlung lautete ursprünglich: Smend West-Afrika (Togo). Die Beschriftung der Walzen ist sehr unterschiedlich: keine Beschriftung, römische Ziffern, arabische Ziffern, SM + arab. Ziffer, Smend Togo + arab. Ziffer. Einen ausführlichen Kommentar zum Walzenbestand verfaßte Ingrid Bertleff 1998. Die Walzen 14, 32, 30 wurden als Nr. 75, 78 u. 79 in die Dem. coll. übernommen. Ausführliche Bemerkungen und Texte liegen vor. Umfangreicher Briefwechsel mit dem PhA und MV vorhanden. Transkriptionen sind in vielen Publikationen verstreut. W. röm. 5 ist veröffentlicht auf der CD 100 Jahre (1/22).

Es handelt sich bei dieser Sammlung um die Fortsetzung der Sammlung Smend I, die aber separat numeriert wurde. In der Benennung der Sammlung besteht keine Unterschied zu Smend I. Die Beschriftung der Walzen ist unterschiedlich: römische Ziffern (im Unterschied zu Smend I), SM [W AFR] + röm. Ziffern, Smend Eve + arabische Ziffern. Einen ausführlichen Kommentar zum Walzenbestand verfaßte Ingrid Bertleff 1998. Die Walzen 4 und 15 wurden als Nr. 76 u. 77 in die Dem. coll. übernommen. Ausführliche Bemerkungen und Texte liegen vor.
