Friederici, GeorgThe "Frankfurter Oder-Zeitung" appeared daily from 1880 to 1945. It is now only available in a single complete edition, and that in the Frankfurt City Archive. The editions of the newspaper are filmed and can be viewed in the reading room of the archive. In decades of work, the various newspapers and magazines were searched for important events and dates for the history of the city and its surroundings. This card index with about 80000 index cards is still continued daily today. The newspaper reported regularly about colonial political activities in the city.
